Say: 'O my Lord, if Thou shouldst show me that they are promised, 93 then do not include me, my Lord, among these wrong-doing people." 94 We have certainly the power to make you see what We have promised them. 95 Repel thou the evil with that which is fairer. We Ourselves know very well that they describe. 96 And say "O my Lord! I seek refuge with Thee from the suggestions of the Evil Ones. 97 and I seek refuge with Thee, O my Sustainer, lest they come near unto me!" 98 Until, when death comes to one* of them, he says, “O my Lord, send me back!” (The disbelievers) 99 That I may do some good I did not do (in the world)." Not so. These are only words he utters. Behind them lies the intervening barrier (stretching) to the day of their resurrection. 100 When the trumpet blast is sounded no ties of lineage will hold among them, nor will they ask after one another. 101 Then he whose scales are heavy -- they are the prosperers, 102 And those whose scales (of good deeds) are light, they are those who lose their ownselves, in Hell will they abide. 103 The Fire will burn their faces, and they will therein grin, with their lips displaced. 104 "Were not My Signs rehearsed to you, and ye did but treat them as falsehood?" 105 They will answer, "Lord, misfortune overcame us and we became an erring people. 106 "Our Lord! Bring us out of this; if ever we return (to evil), then indeed we shall be Zalimun: (polytheists, oppressors, unjust, and wrong-doers, etc.)." 107 [But] He will say: "Away with you into this [ignominy]! And speak no more unto Me! 108 Surely there was a party of My servants who said: O our Lord! we believe, so do Thou forgive us and have mercy on us, and Thou art the best of the Merciful ones. 109 But you took them for laughingstock, mocking at them, until they caused you to forget My remembrance. 110 Verily! I have rewarded them this Day for their patience, they are indeed the ones that are successful. 111 [Allah] will say, "How long did you remain on earth in number of years?" 112 They will say: we tarried a day or part of a day; ask those who keep count. 113 He will say, "You only stayed for a little while, if only you knew. 114 Did you, then, think that We created you in mere idle play, and that you would not have to return to Us?" 115 Then, exalted be God, the true King, there is no deity except Him, the Lord of the Glorious Throne. 116 And whoever invokes besides Allah another deity for which he has no proof - then his account is only with his Lord. Indeed, the disbelievers will not succeed. 117 And say: 'My Lord, forgive and have mercy, for You are the Best of the merciful' 118
