Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Ya-Sin. 1 By the Quran, full of wisdom (i.e. full of laws, evidences, and proofs), 2 Indeed you, [O Muhammad], are from among the messengers, 3 On a Straight Path (i.e. on Allah's religion of Islamic Monotheism). 4 A revelation of the Mighty, the Merciful, 5 In order that thou mayest admonish a people, whose fathers had received no admonition, and who therefore remain heedless (of the Signs of Allah). 6 Already the word has come into effect upon most of them, so they do not believe. 7 Surely We have put on their necks fetters up to the chin, so their heads are raised; 8 And We have set a wall before them and a wall behind them, and covered the top – so they are unable to see anything. 9 It makes no difference to them whether you warn them or do not warn them: they will not believe. 10 You warn only him who follows the advice and fears the Most Gracious without seeing; therefore give him glad tidings of forgiveness and an honourable reward. 11 We shall surely bring the dead back to life and We record what they send ahead and what they leave behind. We have recorded everything in a clear book. 12
