Blessed is He who could give you palaces and gardens wherein streams would flow, far better than what they want you to have. 10 Yet they reject the Hour as untrue. We have prepared a Fire for those who deny the Resurrection. 11 When it shall come into their sight from a distant place, they shall hear its vehement raging and roaring. 12 And when, chained in (iron) fetters, they are cast into some narrow space of the Fire, they will call out for destruction. 13 [They will be told], "Do not cry this Day for one destruction but cry for much destruction." 14 Say: 'Is that better, or the Garden of Eternity, that is promised to the godfearing, and is their recompense and homecoming?' 15 Therein abiding, they have all that they desire. It is for thy Lord a promise that must be fulfilled. 16 On the day when the unbelievers and whatever they had been worshipping besides God will be resurrected, He will ask the idols, "Did you mislead My servants or did they themselves go astray from the right path?" 17 They shall say: Glory be to Thee; it was not beseeming for us that we should take any guardians besides Thee, but Thou didst make them and their fathers to enjoy until they forsook the reminder, and they were a people in perdition, 18 (Allah will say): "Now have they proved you liars in what ye say: so ye cannot avert (your penalty) nor (get) help." And whoever among you does wrong, him shall We cause to taste of a grievous Penalty. 19 And all the Noble Messengers We sent before you were like this – eating food and walking in the markets; and We have made some of you a test for others; so will you, O people, patiently endure? And O dear Prophet, your Lord is All Seeing. 20
