1/2 Hizb 46
< random >
And remember Our servant Job, when he called to his Lord, "Indeed, Satan has touched me with hardship and torment." 41 [So he was told], "Strike [the ground] with your foot; this is a [spring for] a cool bath and drink." 42 And We granted to him his family and also the like of them, as a mercy from Us, and as a reminder to people of understanding, 43 [And finally We told him:] "Now take in thy hand a small bunch of grass, and strike therewith, and thou wilt not break thine oath!" for, verily, We found him full of patience in adversity: how excellent a servant [of Ours,] who, behold, would always turn unto Us! 44 Remember also Our servants Abraham, Isaac and Jacob -- men of might they and of vision. 45 Verily, We did choose them by granting them (a good thing, i.e.) the remembrance of the home [in the Hereafter and they used to make the people remember it, and also they used to invite the people to obey Allah and to do good deeds for the Hereafter]. 46 Lo! in Our sight they are verily of the elect, the excellent. 47 And remember Ismail and Yasa’a (Elisha) and Zul-Kifl; and they are all excellent. 48 This is an admonition, and verily for the God-fearing is a happy retreat: 49 The gardens of perpetuity, the doors are opened for them. 50 wherein they shall recline, wherein they shall ask for abundant fruit and drinks, 51 ۞ with them, they will have pure, modest women of an equal age. 52 'This is what you were promised for the Day of Reckoning; 53 Our provision for you will never be exhausted. 54 This (for the virtuous); but for the transgressors the evil destination, 55 They will suffer in hell. What a terrible dwelling! 56 All this; so let them taste it - boiling water and pus, 57 And other torments of similar kind, all together! 58 [And they will say to one another: "Do you see] this crowd of people rushing headlong to join you?" "No welcome to them! Indeed, they are headed for the fire!" 59 They will reply: “Rather, no welcome to you. (You will roast in Hell.) It is you who led us to this end. What an evil resort!” 60 They say, “Our Lord! Whoever has brought this calamity upon us double the punishment of the fire for him!” 61 And they will say: "What is the matter with us that we see not men whom we used to count among the bad ones?" 62 Is it [because] we took them in ridicule, or has [our] vision turned away from them?" 63 Such disputes will certainly take place among the dwellers of hell fire. 64

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
