When your Lord called upon Moses: "Go to the wicked people, 10 the nation of Pharaoh. Will they not fear Me' 11 : He said: "O Lord, I fear that they will deny me. 12 And I shall be embarrassed, and my tongue will not speak plainly, therefor send for Aaron (to help me). 13 “And they have an accusation against me, so I fear that they may kill me.” 14 The Lord said, "Have no fear, both of you go with Our miracles. We shall closely listen to you." 15 Go, then, to Pharaoh and say to him: 'The Lord of the Universe has sent us 16 so send forth with us the Children of Israel." 17 Pharaoh said: "Did we not bring you up among us when you were a child? 18 Yet you committed the deed you did, surely you are one of the ingrates." 19 Said Moosa, “I did that at a time when I was unaware of the consequences.” (In anger – See verse 28:15) 20 Then I fled from you when I feared you, and my Lord bestowed on me wisdom and made me one of the sent ones. 21 Is this then the blessing with which you reproach me, that you have the Children of Israel for worshipers' 22 Pharaoh said: 'And what is the Lord of the Worlds' 23 He said: Lord of the heavens and the earth and whatsoever is in-between, if ye seek to be convinced. 24 Fir'awn said unto those around him: hear ye not? 25 He said: Your Lord and the Lord of your fathers. 26 Pharaoh said, "This messenger who has been sent to you is surely possessed!" 27 [Moses] said, "Lord of the east and the west and that between them, if you were to reason." 28 Pharaoh said, "If you take any deity other than myself, I will throw you into prison," 29 Musa (Moses) said: "Even if I bring you something manifest (and convincing)?" 30 Said Firaun, “Then bring it, if you are of the truthful.” 31 So he cast down his rod, and lo! it was an obvious serpent, 32 and he drew forth his hand - and lo! it appeared [shining] white to the beholders. 33
