We also bestowed Our favour on Moses and Aaron: 114 and saved them and their people from great distress. 115 And We supported them so it was they who overcame. 116 We granted them a Clear Book, 117 guided them to the right path, 118 And We left for them (a goodly remembrance) among generations (to come) in later times; 119 Peace be with Moses and Aaron. 120 Thus do We reward the righteous ones. 121 They were among Our believing worshipers. 122 Elijah too was one of the messengers. 123 When he said to his people, “Do you not fear?” 124 "Will ye call upon Baal and forsake the Best of Creators,- 125 God, your Lord, and the Lord of your fathers?" 126 But they cried him lies; so they will be among the arraigned, 127 Except the chosen servants of Allah. 128 We left him thus to be succeeded by a group [of followers] among the following generations -- 129 "Peace and salutation to such as Elias!" 130 Thus do We reward the good-doers. 131 for he was truly one of Our believing servants! 132 AND, BEHOLD, Lot was indeed one of Our message-bearers; 133 When We saved him and his household, every one, 134 Except an old woman, who became of those who stayed behind. 135 Then We utterly destroyed the rest of them. 136 and you pass by them in the morning 137 And at night-time; have ye then no sense? 138
