۞ No! I swear by the fallings of the stars 75 And that is indeed a tremendous oath, if you understand. 76 Behold, it is a truly noble discourse, 77 In a Book Hidden. 78 Only they can reach it who are clean (of mind). 79 A revelation by the Lord of the worlds. 80 What, do you hold this discourse in disdain, 81 Do you make its denial your means of livelihood? 82 Why, but when the soul leaps to the throat of the dying 83 And you at that time look on-- 84 But We (i.e. Our angels who take the soul) are nearer to him than you, but you see not, [Tafsir At-Tabari, Vol. 27, Page 209] 85 Then why, if you are not indebted (to Us for life), 86 do you not bring back his soul, if you speak truly? 87 If he is among the near 88 (There is for him) rest and provision, and a Garden of delights (Paradise). 89 And if he (the dying person) be of those on the Right Hand, 90 Then: peace unto thee, for thou art of those on the right hand. 91 And if he be of the beliers, the erring, 92 Then for him is entertainment with boiling water. 93 and will be scorched by the Fire. 94 Verily, this is indeed the truth of truths! 95 So glorify the name of your Great Lord. 96
