What, are you stronger in constitution or the heaven He built? 27 and raised its vault high and proportioned it; 28 And He made dark its night and brought out its light. 29 And the earth He extended after that; 30 He brought forth from it its water and its pasturage. 31 And the mountains hath He firmly fixed;- 32 In order to benefit you and your cattle. 33 But when the great calamity will come about 34 The day when man remembers all that he had done, 35 And the Scorch will be made apparent to any one who beholdeth. 36 Then as for him who is inordinate, 37 And preferred the worldly life, 38 Lo! hell will be his home. 39 But unto him who shall have stood in fear of his Sustainer's Presence, and held back his inner self from base desires, 40 Lo! the Garden will be his home. 41 (Muhammad), they ask you, "When will the Hour of Doom come?" 42 What concern do you have regarding its explanation? (You are not bound to tell them) 43 Your Lord alone knows when it will come; 44 Your duty is only to warn him who fears it. 45 On the day when they behold it, it will be as if they had but tarried for an evening or the morn thereof. 46
