The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the sky containing great stars 1 And the promised day, 2 And the bearer of witness and those against whom the witness is borne. 3 may the people be condemned those who tortured (the believers) in ditches 4 by a burning fire 5 As they sat around it 6 and were themselves witnesses of what they did with the believers. 7 And what did they dislike from the Muslims, except that the Muslims accepted faith in Allah the Most Honourable, the Most Praiseworthy? 8 Whose kingdom spreads over the heavens and the earth. God is witness over everything. 9 Surely for those who persecute believers, men and women, and do not repent afterwards, is the punishment of Hell, and the punishment of burning. 10 But those who believe and do good deeds shall be rewarded with gardens watered by flowing rivers. That is the supreme triumph. 11 Lo! the punishment of thy Lord is stern. 12 It is verily He who initiates and repeats. 13 And He is the Forgiving, the Affectionate, 14 Master of the Honourable Throne. 15 the Executor of what He wills. 16 Has there reached you the story of the soldiers - 17 Of Firon and Samood? 18 In fact, the disbelievers had always rejected (Our revelations). 19 Allah encompasses them all from behind. 20 It is indeed a glorious Quran, 21 In the Preserved Tablet. 22
