The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
Al-Qari'ah (the striking Hour i.e. the Day of Resurrection), 1 What is the striking (Hour)? 2 And what have you understood, what the event that terrifies the hearts is! 3 (It is) a Day whereon men will be like moths scattered about, 4 And the mountains will be like carded wool, 5 Then, the one whose good deeds weigh heavy on the scales, 6 He shall be in a life well-pleasing. 7 And as for him whose measure of good deeds is light, 8 Will have the Abyss for abode. 9 And what will make you know what it is? 10 A fire hotly burning! 11
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
