Have you considered he who turns his back, 33 And he gave a little, then refrained? 34 Has he knowledge of the unseen, so that he sees? 35 Did not the news reach him, of that which is mentioned in the Books of Moosa? 36 and Abraham, he who paid his debt in full? 37 That no laden one shall bear another's load, 38 And that man can have nothing but what he does (good or bad). 39 and that in time [the nature of] all his striving will be shown [to him in its true light,] 40 Thereafter he shall be recompensed therefor with the fullest recompense. 41 and that with thy Sustainer is the beginning and the end [of all that exists]; 42 And that He it is who maketh laugh, and maketh weep, 43 That it is He Who granteth Death and Life; 44 That He created pairs, male and female, 45 From a drop (of seed) when it is poured forth; 46 and that He will bring about the Second Creation; 47 And that it is He Who enricheth and preserveth property. 48 And that it is He who is the Lord of Sirius 49 That it was He who destroyed the 'Ad of old, 50 and Thamood, and He did not spare them, 51 And before them, the people of Nooh? Indeed they were more unjust and more rebellious than these! 52 It is He who turned upside down the people of Lot 53 and covered them with torment. 54 On which then of your Lord's signs do you cast doubt? 55 This is a Warner, of the (series of) Warners of old! 56 The (Judgment) ever approaching draws nigh: 57 Of it, [from those] besides Allah, there is no remover. 58 At this discourse then marvel ye? 59 Will you laugh at it rather than weep? 60 Wasting your (precious) lifetime in pastime and amusements (singing, etc.). 61 So prostrate yourselves before God and worship him. ۩ 62
