۞ We revealed to Moses: "Set forth with My servants by night for you will be pursued." 52 So Firaun sent gatherers into the cities. 53 Verily these are but a band small. 54 They are always harassing us. 55 And indeed, we are a cautious society... " 56 So We removed them from gardens and springs 57 And treasures and agreeable mansions. 58 So it was; and We made the Descendants of Israel its inheritors. 59 But they pursued them at sunrise. 60 and as soon as the two hosts came in sight of one another, the followers of Moses exclaimed: "Behold, we shall certainly be overtaken [and defeated]!" 61 [Musa (Moses)] said: "Nay, verily! With me is my Lord, He will guide me." 62 We sent a revelation to Moses saying, "Strike the sea with your staff." The sea was rent asunder and each side stood high up like a huge mountain. 63 We also brought the other party close to the same spot, 64 And We delivered Musa and those with him together. 65 Then drowned the others. 66 Surely, in that there is a sign; yet most of them do not believe. 67 And indeed your Lord – only He is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 68
