▼ 55 The All Compassionate
Al-Rahman 3 of 3
But for such as fear the time when they will stand before (the Judgment Seat of) their Lord, there will be two Gardens- 46 Which of your Lord's favours will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 47 These Gardens will abound in green, blooming branches. 48 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?- 49 In which, will be two fountains running. 50 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?- 51 In them (both) will be every kind of fruit in pairs. 52 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 53 Reclining on beds, the inner coverings of which are of silk brocade; and the fruits of the two gardens shall be within reach. 54 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 55 therein maidens restraining their glances, untouched before them by any man or jinn -- 56 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 57 Like unto Rubies and coral. 58 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 59 Can the reward of goodness be any other than goodness? 60 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 61 And besides those two will be yet two [other] gardens 62 which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 63 Dark green with foliage. 64 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? 65 Therein are two gushing fountains of water. 66 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? 67 In which will be the fruit, date-palms and pomegranates. 68 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 69 In them are women of good behaviour and gorgeous faces. 70 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 71 There shall be maidens sheltered in tents. 72 Which of the favours of your Lord will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 73 Undeflowered by man or by jinn before them, -- 74 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? - 75 Reclining on green cushions and rich beautiful mattresses. 76 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 77 Blessed is the Name of your Lord, the Lord of Glory and Grace. 78
True are the words of God the Almighty.
