The tree of al-Zaqqum 43 Is food for the sinful. 44 Like boiling oil, it will boil in the bellies, 45 like water. 46 (A voice will cry: "Seize ye him and drag him into the midst of the Blazing Fire! 47 "Then pour over his head the torment of scalding water." 48 [It will be said], "Taste! Indeed, you are the honored, the noble! 49 "Truly this is what ye used to doubt!" 50 Lo! those who kept their duty will be in a place secured. 51 In the midst of gardens and of springs, 52 Wearing [garments of] fine silk and brocade, facing each other. 53 Thus shall it be. And We shall pair them with companions pure, most beautiful of eye. 54 There in security, they will call for every kind of fruit. 55 They will not taste death again in it, except their former death; and Allah has saved them from the punishment of fire. 56 a bounty from thy Lord; that is the mighty triumph. 57 We have made the Quran easy for you to recite so that perhaps they may take heed. 58 So be watchful, they too are watching. 59
