The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful

The Striking Calamity - 1 What is the crash? 2 And what could make thee conceive what that sudden calamity will be? 3 [It is] a Day when mankind shall be like scattered moths 4 And the mountains will be like carded wool, 5 And then, he whose weight [of good deeds] is heavy in the balance 6 will have a most pleasing life. 7 But as for him whose scales are light, 8 His abode shall be the abyss. 9 And what shall make thee know that which she is? 10 (It is) a Fire which is extremely hot. 11
