The nation of Noah, belied their Messengers. 105 Recall when their brother Noah said to them: "Do you have no fear? 106 I have been sent as a trusted messenger to you. 107 "So fear Allah, and obey me. 108 And I do not ask you any reward for it; my reward is only with the Lord of the worlds: 109 So fear God and follow me." 110 ۞ They said, “Shall we believe in you, whereas the abject people are with you?” 111 Said he: "And what knowledge could I have as to what they were doing [before they came to me]? 112 Lo! their reckoning is my Lord's concern, if ye but knew; 113 I am certainly not one to drive away the believers. 114 "I am sent only to warn plainly in public." 115 They said, "Noah, if you do not desist, you will be stoned." 116 He said: 'My Lord, my nation have belied me. 117 so give true deliverance between me and them, and deliver me and the believers that are with me. 118 So We delivered him and those with him in the loaded ark, 119 afterwards, We drowned the rest. 120 Surely there is a Sign in this, but most of them would not believe. 121 But surely your Lord is mighty and merciful. 122
