3/4 Hizb 45

And Nuh did certainly call upon Us, and most excellent answerer of prayer are We. 75 We saved him and his people from the great distress, 76 and We made his seed the survivors, 77 And left for him (a goodly remembrance) among generations to come in later times: 78 Peace be upon Noah among all the nations. 79 Thus indeed do we reward those who do right. 80 he was truly one of Our faithful servants. 81 Thereafter We caused the others to be drowned. 82 ۞ And indeed Ibrahim is from his (Nooh’s) group. 83 When he came to his Lord, with a sound heart. (Free from falsehood). 84 When he said to his father and to his people: "What is it that which you worship? 85 "Is it a falsehood aliha (gods) other than Allah that you seek? 86 What then is your opinion of the Lord of the Worlds? 87 And he cast a glance at the stars, 88 And said, "Indeed, I am [about to be] ill." 89 and at that they turned their backs on him and went away. 90 Then he turned to their gods, and said: 'What do you eat? 91 What is [wrong] with you that you do not speak?" 92 Then he turned upon them, striking (them) with (his) right hand. 93 [But] then the others came towards him hurriedly [and accused him of his deed]. 94 "Why do you worship these you carve yourselves," he asked, 95 the while it is God who has created you and all your handiwork?" 96 They replied: 'Build for him a building and cast him into the fire' 97 So they tried to execute their evil scheme upon him We therefore degraded them. (Allah saved him, by commanding the fire to turn cool). 98 And he said: Surely I fly to my lord; He will guide me. 99 Lord, grant me a righteous son.” 100 So We gave him good tidings of a forbearing boy. 101 When he was old enough to go about with him, he said: "O my son, I dreamt that I was sacrificing you. Consider, what you think?" He replied: "Father, do as you are commanded. If God pleases you will find me firm." 102 When they submitted to the will of God, and (Abraham) laid (his son) down prostrate on his temple, 103 We called out to him, "Abraham, 104 Thou hast already fulfilled the vision. Lo! thus do We reward the good. 105 It was certainly an open trial. 106 And We ransomed him with a mighty sacrifice, 107 And We left (this blessing) for him among generations (to come) in later times: 108 Peace be with Abraham. 109 Thus, do We reward the righteous ones. 110 Indeed, he was of Our believing servants. 111 And [in time] We gave him the glad tiding of Isaac, [who, too, would be] a prophet, one of the righteous; 112 And We blessed him and Isaac. And of their seed are some who do good, and some who plainly wrong themselves. 113
