Daybreak (Al-Falaq)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Elephant (Al-Feel) before People (Al-Naas)

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

Say thou; I seek refuge with the Lord of the daybreak. 1 From the evil of what He has created, 2 From the mischief of Darkness as it overspreads; 3 "And from the evil of the witchcrafts when they blow in the knots, 4 And from the mischief of the envious one as he practises envy. 5

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
