The People of the Woods denied the Noble Messengers. 176 When Shu'eyb said unto them: Will ye not ward off (evil)? 177 Verily I am unto you an apostle trusted. 178 "So fear Allah, keep your duty to Him, and obey me. 179 And I do not ask you any reward for it, my reward is only with the Lord of the worlds; 180 ۞ Give full measure and do not be of those who cause loss. 181 and [in all your dealings] weigh with a true balance, 182 And do not deprive people of their due and do not commit abuse on earth, spreading corruption. 183 Fear He who created you, and the generations of the ancient' 184 They said, “You are under a magic spell.” 185 You are but a human like ourselves, we think that you are one of the liars. 186 But in case you are speaking the truth, then make a segment of the sky to fall upon us." 187 He said, “My Lord is Well Aware of what you do.” 188 But they denied him, so there came on them the retribution of the day of gloom. Lo! it was the retribution of an awful day. 189 Surely there is a Sign in this, but most of them would not believe. 190 And verily thy Lord is He, the Exalted in Might, Most Merciful. 191
