With power did We construct the heaven. Verily, We are Able to extend the vastness of space thereof. 47 We have spread out the earth and how brilliantly it is spread! 48 and We created pairs of all things so that you might reflect. 49 So turn to God. I give you a clear warning from Him. 50 Do not set up with Allah another god. I am a clear warner to you from Him. 51 [But] thus it is: never yet came any apostle to those who lived before their time but they said, "A spellbinder, ["sorcerer" is he,] or a madman!" 52 Is this the legacy they have transmitted, one to another? Nay, they are themselves a people transgressing beyond bounds! 53 So leave them, [O Muhammad], for you are not to be blamed. 54 But go on reminding them, as reminding benefits the believers. 55 I created the jinn and humankind only that they might worship Me. 56 I do not ask any sustenance from them, nor wish that they give Me food. 57 for, verily, God Himself is the Provider of all sustenance, the Lord of all might, the Eternal! 58 The wrong-doers shall receive a portion of the chastisements as their fellows (of yore). So let them not rush Me. 59 And woe to those who have disbelieved from their Day which they are promised. 60
