The Comet (Al-Taareq)
17 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Town (Al-Balad) before The Moon (Al-Qamar)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
I swear by the heaven and the comer by night; 1 What could let you know what the nightly comer is! 2 (It is a nightly radiant star). 3 That over each soul there is a guardian. 4 So let man consider of what he was created; 5 He has been created from an ejected drop of fluid 6 Issuing from (the pelvis) between the backbone and the ribs. 7 Surely (Allah) is able to bring him back (to life)! 8 On the day when hidden things shall be made manifest, 9 [man] will have no power, and no helper. 10 By oath of the sky from which comes down the rain. 11 and the earth, bursting forth with plants! 12 this is indeed a Decisive Word, 13 And it is not amusement. 14 They are planning a scheme, 15 But I too am devising a plan. 16 So grant the unbelievers a respite: let them alone for a while. 17
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
