The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
I swear by the runners breathing pantingly, 1 Striking stones with their hooves, sparking fire. 2 And scouring to the raid at dawn 3 and leave behind a cloud of dust 4 which engulfs the enemy. 5 Indeed, the human is ungrateful to his Lord. 6 And lo! he is a witness unto that; 7 He certainly has a strong love for wealth and riches. 8 ۞ Is he not aware of the time when the contents of the graves will be brought out? 9 and all that is [hidden] in men's hearts is bared 10 that on that Day their Sustainer [will show that He] has always been fully aware of them? 11
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
