Al-Hijjr 2 of 6

And verily in the heaven we have set mansions of the stars, and We have beautified it for beholders. 16 and have protected them against every accursed satan 17 save him who may eavesdrop, and then a bright flame pursues him. 18 And the earth have We spread out, and placed therein firm hills, and caused each seemly thing to grow therein. 19 And we have given unto you livelihoods therein, and unto those for whom ye provide not. 20 And there is not a thing the treasure* of which is not with Us; and We do not send it down except by a known measure. (* The power to create it.) 21 And We send the fecundating winds, then cause the rain to descend from the sky, therewith providing you with water (in abundance), though ye are not the guardians of its stores. 22 And most surely We bring to life and cause to die and We are the heirs. 23 We surely know those of you who go forward and those of you who lag behind. 24 and, behold, it is thy Sustainer who will gather them all together [on Judgment Day]: verily, He is Wise, All-Knowing! 25
