Blessed be He Who hath placed in the heaven mansions of the stars, and hath placed therein a great lamp and a moon giving light! 61 And He it is Who has put the night and the day in succession, for such who desires to remember or desires to show his gratitude. 62 And the bondmen of the Compassionate are those who walk upon the earth meekly and when the ignorants address them, they say peace 63 who pass the night prostrate to their Lord and standing; 64 who pray, "Our Lord, save us from the torment of Hell, for its torment is killing: 65 Indeed, it is evil as a settlement and residence." 66 who in their spending are neither extravagant nor stingy but maintain moderation, 67 who do not call upon another god with Allah, nor slay the soul which Allah has forbidden except by right; who do not fornicate, for he who does this shall face punishment 68 The doom will be doubled for him on the Day of Resurrection, and he will abide therein disdained for ever; 69 except for those who repent and believe and do good deeds. God will change the evil deeds of such people into good ones: He is most forgiving and most merciful. 70 And he who repents and does righteousness does indeed turn to Allah with [accepted] repentance. 71 And those who do not bear false witness, and when they pass by frivolity, they pass by with dignity; 72 And those who, when they are reminded of the revelations of their Lord, fall not deaf and blind thereat. 73 Those who say: 'Lord give us of our wives and children what pleases our eyes and make us leaders to the fearful' 74 They will be rewarded for their perseverance with lofty mansions in empyrean where they will be received with greetings of peace and salutations, 75 therein to abide: [and] how goodly an abode and [how high] a station! 76 Say (O Muhammad, unto the disbelievers): My Lord would not concern Himself with you but for your prayer. But now ye have denied (the Truth), therefor there will be judgment. 77
