The Cheaters (Al-Mutaffifeen)
36 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Spider (Al-Ankaboot) before The Heifer (Al-Baqarah)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
WOE TO THOSE who give short measure, 1 those who demand a full measure from others 2 But if they measure unto them or weight for them, they cause them loss. 3 Do they not think they will be raised (to life) again 4 on a fateful Day. 5 The day when (all) mankind stand before the Lord of the Worlds? 6 Nay! most surely the record of the wicked is in the Sijjin. 7 And what will explain to thee what Sijjin is? 8 A record of misdeeds written. 9 Woe on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth 10 who cry lies to the Day of Doom; 11 No one rejects it except the sinful transgressors 12 When you recite Our verses to him, he says, “Stories of earlier men!” 13 By no means! but on their hearts is the stain of the (ill) which they do! 14 Nay, but surely on that day they will be covered from (the mercy of) their Lord. 15 and then they shall enter Hell, 16 Further, it will be said to them: "This is the (reality) which ye rejected as false! 17 Surely the ledger of the pious will be in 'Illiyun (heights above the heights). 18 And what do you know what the Record of the exalted ones is? 19 It is a written book, 20 The ones nearest to God will bring it to public. 21 Most surely the righteous shall be in bliss, 22 resting on couches, looking around. 23 You will find in their faces the brightness of bliss. 24 They are given to drink of a pure wine, sealed, 25 Whose seal is musk - for this let (all) those strive who strive for bliss - 26 And mixed with water of Tasnim, 27 A fountain from which only they who are honoured drink. 28 Surely they who are guilty used to laugh at those who believe. 29 When passing by them, they would wink at one another 30 And when they returned to their own people, they would return jesting; 31 On seeing the believers, they would say, "These people have gone astray". 32 Yet they were not sent to be their guardians. 33 This day it is those who believe who have the laugh of disbelievers, 34 On high thrones, watching. 35 Will not the infidels pay for what they had done? 36
True are the words of God the Almighty.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
