Verily the tree of Zaqqum 43 will be the food of the sinful: 44 Like the dregs of all! It shall seethe in the bellies: 45 Like the boiling of scalding water. 46 "Seize him and drag him into the depths of Hell," (it will be said), 47 then pour over his head the anguish of burning despair! 48 "Taste you (this)! Verily, you were (pretending to be) the mighty, the generous! 49 Indeed, this is what you used to dispute." 50 Lo! those who kept their duty will be in a place secured. 51 Amid gardens and watersprings, 52 Attired in silk and brocade, they shall be arrayed face to face. 53 Just like that. We shall pair them with companions with large black eyes. 54 While resting in security, they shall call for all kinds of fruit. 55 They will not experience any death other than that which they have already been through. 56 As a Bounty from thy Lord! that will be the supreme achievement! 57 We have made this Quran easy to understand, in your own language, so that they may take heed. 58 Therefore wait; surely they are waiting. 59
