With power did We construct the heaven. Verily, We are Able to extend the vastness of space thereof. 47 We spread the earth a carpet; what comfort We provide! 48 And of everything We have created pairs, that you may remember (the Grace of Allah). 49 So flee to Allah (from His Torment to His Mercy Islamic Monotheism), verily, I (Muhammad SAW) am a plain warner to you from Him. 50 And make not another an object of worship with Allah: I am from Him a Warner to you, clear and open! 51 In the same way no Messenger came to those who lived before them without his people calling him a magician or an insane person. 52 Have they, perchance, handed down this [way of thinking] as a legacy unto one another? Nay, they are people filled with overweening arrogance! 53 So turn away from them: not thine is the blame. 54 And remind, for indeed, the reminder benefits the believers. 55 And I created the jinns and men, only for them to worship Me. 56 I seek no livelihood from them, nor do I ask that they should feed Me. 57 Surely Allah is the Bestower of sustenance, the Lord of Power, the Strong. 58 For the Wrong-doers, their portion is like unto the portion of their fellows (of earlier generations): then let them not ask Me to hasten (that portion)! 59 Alas the woe for those who refuse to believe in the Day which has been promised them. 60
