[Useless, though, will be his repentance: for [as long as he was alive] he did not accept the truth, nor did he pray [for enlightenment,] 31 But he denied and turned away. 32 Then he went back to his home in pride. 33 Woe unto thee; woe! 34 and ever nearer unto thee, and nearer! 35 DOES MAN, then, think that he is to be left to himself to go about at will? 36 Was he not a sperm of emission emitted? 37 and thereafter became a germ-cell - whereupon He created and formed [it] in accordance with what [it] was meant to be, 38 and made from him two kinds, male and female. 39 Is not That One then Able to quicken the dead? 40
