Hizb 38
< random >
The people of Noah cried lies to the Envoys 105 when Noah, their brother, said to them: 'Will you not be cautious? 106 I am for you an honest Messenger, 107 be, then, conscious of God, and pay heed unto me! 108 For this I ask of you no wage, for my wage falls only on the Lord of the Worlds. 109 “Therefore fear Allah, and obey me.” 110 ۞ They said, "Should we believe in you when no one has followed you except the lowest ones". 111 He said, 'What knowledge have I of that they have been doing? 112 It is only for my Lord to take account of them. Would that you made use of your understanding! 113 It is not for me to repel those who choose to believe. 114 I am only a plain warner." 115 They said: "If thou desist not, O Noah! thou shalt be stoned (to death)." 116 He said: 'My Lord, my nation have belied me. 117 “Therefore make a decisive judgement between me and them, and rescue me and the believers along with me.” 118 We saved him and those who were with him in a fully laden Ark, 119 Then We drowned the rest afterwards 120 In this [story,] behold, there is a message [unto men,] even though most of them will not believe [in it]. 121 Verily Your Lord is Immensely Mighty, Ever Compassionate. 122
