۞ Who does greater wrong than he who tells a lie against God, and denies the truth when it has come to him? Is there no place for unbelievers in Hell? 32 And he who comes with the truth, and confirms it, those are they who surely fear Allah. 33 They will receive whatever they want from their Lord. Thus is the reward of the righteous ones. 34 God will efface their worst deeds from their record and give them their reward in accordance with the best of their actions. 35 Will not Allah defend His slave? Yet they would frighten thee with those beside Him. He whom Allah sendeth astray, for him there is no guide. 36 whereas he whom God guides aright can never be led astray. Is not God almighty, an avenger of evil? 37 And should you ask them, Who created the heavens and the earth? They would most certainly say: Allah. Say: Have you then considered that what you call upon besides Allah, would they, if Allah desire to afflict me with harm, be the removers of His harm, or (would they), if Allah desire to show me mercy, be the withholders of His mercy? Say: Allah is sufficient for me; on Him do the reliant rely. 38 Say: "O people, act as best you can on your part, I am acting too. You will come to know in time 39 Who suffers the shameful punishment, and on whom falls the everlasting torment. 40 BEHOLD, from on high have We bestowed upon thee this divine writ, setting forth the truth for [the benefit of all] mankind. And whoever chooses to be guided [thereby,] does so for his own good, and whoever chooses to go astray, goes but astray to his own hurt; and thou hast not the power to determine their fate. 41
