The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ (Muhammad), glorify the Name of your lord, the Most High, 1 Who hath created, and further, given order and proportion; 2 Who measureth, then guideth; 3 And Who bringeth out the (green and luscious) pasture, 4 Then makes it dried up, dust-colored. 5 We will make you recite, [O Muhammad], and you will not forget, 6 Except what Allah pleases, surely He knows the manifest, and what is hidden. 7 We shall ease you to follow the way of Ease. 8 Therefore advise, if advising is beneficial. 9 and he who fears shall remember, 10 But the wretched one will avoid it - 11 he who [in the life to come] shall have to endure the great fire 12 Wherein he will neither die (to be in rest) nor live (a good living). 13 He who purified himself shall prosper, 14 And mentions the name of his Lord and prays. 15 But you prefer the life of this world, 16 Whereas the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Verily, [all] this has indeed been [said] in the earlier revelations 18 the Scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
Almighty God's Truth.
