۞ Tell them, (O Prophet): “My servants who have committed excesses against themselves, do not despair of Allah's Mercy. Surely Allah forgives all sins. He is Most Forgiving, Most Merciful. 53 "Turn ye to our Lord (in repentance) and bow to His (Will), before the Penalty comes on you: after that ye shall not be helped. 54 Follow the best aspect of what is sent down to you from your Lord, before the scourge comes upon you unawares, 55 Lest a soul should say, "Oh [how great is] my regret over what I neglected in regard to Allah and that I was among the mockers." 56 Or, lest it should say: had Allah but guided me, I should surely have been of the God-fearing! 57 or lest he should say, when he becomes aware of the suffering [that awaits him,] "Would that I had a second chance [in life,] so that I could be among the doers of good!" 58 Aye! My communications came to you, but you rejected them, and you were proud and you were one of the unbelievers. 59 And upon the Day of Resurrection thou shalt see those who lied against God, their faces blackened; is there not in Gehenna a lodging for those that are proud? 60 And Allah will rescue the pious, to their place of salvation; neither will the punishment touch them, nor shall they grieve. 61 Allah is the Creator of all things, and He is the Guardian and Disposer of all affairs. 62 To Him belong the keys of the heavens and the earth. It is those who disbelieve in Allah's Signs who will be the losers. 63
