Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat) before The Splitting (Al-Inshiqaaq)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ When the sky is split, 1 And when the stars shall be scattered, 2 When the Oceans are suffered to burst forth; 3 And the sepulchres are overturned, 4 then a soul shall know its works, the former and the latter. 5 O man! What hath made thee careless concerning thy Lord, the Bountiful, 6 Who created thee, then moulded thee, then proportioned thee? 7 and set you in whatever form He pleased? 8 Not at all – but rather you deny the establishment of Justice. 9 yet there are over you watchers 10 Honourablel scribes. 11 Who know what you do. 12 The virtuous ones will live in bliss 13 And verily the ungodly shall be in a Scorch. 14 In which they will enter, and taste its burning flame on the Day of Recompense, 15 and which they shall not [be able to] evade. 16 How can you comprehend what the Day of Judgement is? 17 Again, what do you know what the Day of Recompense is? 18 It is the Day when no soul can do a thing for another soul. That Day, the command belongs to Allah. 19
God Almighty has spoken the truth.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
