Al-Duhaa
The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the morning brightness, 1 By the night when it darkeneth, 2 Thy Lord hath not forsaken thee, nor is He displeased. 3 And verily the Hereafter will be better for thee than the present. 4 soon you will be gratified with what your Lord will give you. 5 Has He not found thee an orphan, and given thee shelter? 6 Did He not find you unaware of the Right Way, and then directed you to it? 7 And He found you poor, and made you rich (selfsufficient with selfcontentment, etc.)? 8 Therefor the orphan oppress not, 9 and chide not him who asks, 10 but proclaim the blessings of your Lord. 11
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
