It is He who gave you ears, eyes and hearts, yet how seldom you are grateful! 78 It is He who multiplied you on the earth, and it will be before Him that you will be gathered. 79 It is He who gives life, and makes to die, and to Him belongs the alternation of night and day; what, will you not understand? 80 No, but they said what the ancients said before them: 81 They say, "When we die and become dust and bones, shall we then be raised up again? 82 We were promised such things and so were our forefathers before us. All these are no more than tales of the past." 83 Say, [O Muhammad], "To whom belongs the earth and whoever is in it, if you should know?" 84 They will say: 'To Allah' Say: 'Then will you not remember' 85 Say: "Who is the Lord of the seven heavens, and the Lord of the Throne (of Glory) Supreme?" 86 They will say: (This is) Allah's. Say: Will you not then guard (against evil)? 87 Say "In Whose Hand is the sovereignty of everything (i.e. treasures of each and everything)? And He protects (all), while against Whom there is no protector, (i.e. if Allah saves anyone none can punish or harm him, and if Allah punishes or harms anyone none can save him), if you know." [Tafsir Al-Qurtubi, Vol. 12, Page 145] 88 They will surely say: "(The dominion over all things) belongs to Allah." Say: "Whence are you then deluded?" 89 We have sent them the truth and they, certainly, are liars. 90 Allah hath not betaken to Himself any son, and there is not along Him any god; else each god would have gone off with that which he had created, and one of them would have exalted himself above the others. Hallowed be Allah above that which they ascribe! 91 The All Knowing, of every hidden and the visible – so Supremacy is to Him over their ascribing of partners (to Him). 92
