The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
I swear by (the angels) who stand in ranks, 1 by those who reprove severely, 2 Then those who recite, being mindful, 3 Lo! thy Lord is surely One; 4 Lord of the heavens and the earth, and of what between them is Lord of the Easts. 5 We have adorned the lower heaven with the adornment of the stars 6 And to guard against every rebellious devil. 7 These satans cannot listen to what transpires in the High Council for they are pelted away from every side 8 Being driven off, and for them is a perpetual chastisement, 9 Except one who sometimes steals a part, so a blazing flame goes after him. 10 Therefore ask them (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), “Are they a stronger creation, or are other things of our creation, (the angels, the heavens etc.)?” We have indeed created them from sticky clay. 11 Rather you are surprised, whereas they keep mocking. 12 And when they are reminded, they pay no attention. 13 And seek to scoff when they behold a portent. 14 and say: 'This is nothing but clear sorcery' 15 "What! when we die, and become dust and bones, shall we (then) be raised up (again) 16 Or our fathers of yore? 17 You say: "Yes; and you will be lowly made." 18 So that is just a single jolt, thereupon they will begin staring. 19 and will say: "Oh, woe unto us! This is the Day of Judgment!" 20 “This is the Day of Judgement, which you used to deny!” 21
