Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By (the wind) those sent (as horses') mane (in succession), 1 And those that strike violently, 2 Then by oath of those that lift and carry. 3 by (the angels) who make a clear distinction between right and wrong 4 And those [angels] who deliver a message 5 As justification or warning, 6 Surely that which ye are promised will befall. 7 When the stars lose their light, 8 And when the heaven is cleft asunder; 9 and the mountains are blown away, 10 And when the messengers are (all) appointed a time (to collect);- 11 For what Day was it postponed? 12 Upon the Day of Decision! 13 And what can make you know what is the Day of Judgement? 14 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 15 Have We not destroyed the earlier generations? 16 and let the latter follow them? 17 [for] thus do We deal with such as are lost in sin. 18 Woe that day unto those who cry it lies! 19 Did We not create you of a mean water, 20 and place it in a secure place 21 for an appointed time? 22 For We do determine (according to need); for We are the best to determine (things). 23 Alas the woe that day for those who deny! 24 Did We not make the earth a storehouse? 25 Both for the living and the dead, 26 and did We not firmly fix towering mountains on it and give you sweet water to drink? 27 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth! 28 Depart to that you cried was lies! 29 Depart unto the shadow three branched: 30 wherein there is neither shade, nor freeing from the blazing flames 31 Verily! It (Hell) throws sparks (huge) as Al-Qasr [a fort or a Qasr (huge log of wood)], 32 As if they were yellowish [black] camels. 33 Woe that day unto those who cry it lies! 34 That will be a Day when they shall not speak (during some part of it), 35 nor will they be allowed to proffer excuses. 36 Woe that day unto those who cry it lies! 37 This is the Day of Decision, We have brought you and the men of old together. 38 If now ye have any wit, outwit Me. 39 On that day, woe would be upon those who have rejected God's revelations! 40
