The Rolling (Al-Takweer)
29 verses, revealed in Mecca after Thorns (Al-Masad) before The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
When the sun is folded up, 1 When the stars fall, losing their lustre; 2 And when the mountains are removed 3 And when full-term she-camels are neglected 4 when the savage beasts are gathered 5 And when the seas are filled with flame 6 When souls are reunited (with the bodies) 7 And when the girl-child that was buried alive is asked 8 Upon what sin was she killed for. 9 When the scrolls are laid open; 10 When the world on High is unveiled; 11 hell is made to blaze, 12 And when Paradise is brought near. 13 A soul will [then] know what it has brought [with it]. 14 No indeed; I swear by the alternating stars 15 that hide, 16 And by oath of the night when it turns back. 17 And by the dawn as it brightens; 18 This is indeed the recitation of an honoured Noble Messenger. (Angel Jibreel peace and blessings be upon him.) 19 Owner of strength, of established dignity with the Lord of the Throne. 20 there he is obeyed and held trustworthy. 21 Nor is your companion distracted. 22 He had surely seen Him on the clear horizon. 23 And he is not avid of the Unseen. 24 The Quran is not the word of condemned satan. 25 Whither then go ye? 26 It is not except a reminder to the worlds 27 So let those who want, choose the right guidance 28 And you do not will except that Allah wills - Lord of the worlds. 29
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
