Shattering (Al-Infitaar)

19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat) before The Splitting (Al-Inshiqaaq)

In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate

۞ When the heaven is cleft asunder. 1 And when the stars become dispersed, 2 When the Oceans are suffered to burst forth; 3 And when the graves are overturned. 4 then a soul shall know its works, the former and the latter. 5 O Man! What deceived thee as to thy generous Lord 6 Who created thee, then moulded thee, then proportioned thee? 7 Shaping you into any form He pleased? 8 No indeed; (the fact is that) you deny the Reckoning, declaring it a lie; 9 Verify there are for you guardians, 10 noble, writers 11 who know of all that you do. 12 As for the Righteous, they will be in bliss; 13 And indeed, the wicked will be in Hellfire. 14 They will burn therein on the Day of Judgment, 15 And they shall by no means be absent from it. 16 And what could make thee conceive what that Judgment Day will be? 17 And once again: What could make thee conceive what that Judgment Day will be? 18 It is the Day when no one shall have the power to do anything for another, and all command shall be Allah's. 19

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
