Say: O my Lord! if Thou shouldst make me see what they are threatened with: 93 "My Lord! Then (save me from Your Punishment), and put me not amongst the people who are the Zalimun (polytheists and wrong-doing)." 94 Surely We are able to show you what We warn them against. 95 Repel evil by what is best; We know best what they describe. 96 And say: 'O my Lord, I seek refuge in You from evil suggestions of the satans. 97 "And I seek refuge with Thee O my Lord! lest they should come near me." 98 [For such is the state of the disbelievers], until, when death comes to one of them, he says, "My Lord, send me back 99 That I may do some good I did not do (in the world)." Not so. These are only words he utters. Behind them lies the intervening barrier (stretching) to the day of their resurrection. 100 So when the trumpet is blown, there shall be no ties of relationship between them on that day, nor shall they ask of each other. 101 If the side of ones good deeds weighs heavier on a scale, he will have everlasting happiness, 102 But those whose balance is light, will be those who have lost their souls, in Hell will they abide. 103 Their faces will be scorched by flames, and they will grin and scowl within it. 104 “Were not My verses recited to you, so you used to deny them?” 105 They will say, "Our Lord, our wretchedness overcame us, and we were a people astray. 106 O our Lord! take us forth from it; then if we return, we shall be wrong-doers indeed. 107 [But] He will say: "Away with you into this [ignominy]! And speak no more unto Me! 108 Verily! There was a party of My slaves, who used to say: "Our Lord! We believe, so forgive us, and have mercy on us, for You are the Best of all who show mercy!" 109 But you took them in mockery to the point that they made you forget My remembrance, and you used to laugh at them. 110 Surely I have rewarded them this day because they were patient, that they are the achievers. 111 He (Allah) will say: "What number of years did you stay on earth?" 112 They will say: We tarried a day or part of a day, but ask those who keep account. 113 He will say, “You stayed but only a little, if you knew.” 114 Deemed ye then that We had created you for naught, and that ye would not be returned unto Us? 115 So Exalted be Allah, the True King, La ilaha illa Huwa (none has the right to be worshipped but He), the Lord of the Supreme Throne! 116 Whosoever calls upon another god, other than Allah, having no proof his reckoning will be with his Lord. The unbelievers shall never prosper. 117 So say: "O my Lord! grant Thou forgiveness and mercy for Thou art the Best of those who show mercy!" 118
