In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
Sad, and by the Qur'an full of exhortation! 1 Those who deny the truth are steeped in arrogance and hostility. 2 How many generations have We destroyed before them. They called: 'The time is neither of escape, nor safety' 3 And they marvel that a warner from among themselves hath come unto them, and the disbelievers say: This is a wizard, a charlatan. 4 What, has he made the gods One God? This is indeed a marvellous thing.' 5 And the leaders among them went about (saying): "Go on, and remain constant to your aliha (gods)! Verily, This is a thing designed (against you)! 6 We heard not thereof in the later faith; this is naught but an invention. 7 What, has the Remembrance been sent down on him out of us all?' Nay, but they are in doubt of My Remembrance; nay, they have not yet tasted My chastisement. 8 Do they possess the treasures of the mercy of your, (Muhammad's), Lord, the Majestic and Munificent God? 9 Or is it that theirs is the kingdom of the heavens and the earth and what is between them? Then let them ascend by any 10 A defeated host are (all) the factions that are there. 11 Even before them the people of Noah, 'Ad, the mighty Pharoah, 12 And Samood and the people of Lut and the dwellers of the thicket; these were the parties. 13 Not one of them but belied the Messengers, therefore My Torment was justified, 14

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
