He it is Who sendeth down water from the sky, whence ye have drink, and whence are trees on which ye send your beasts to pasture. 10 He causes to grow for you thereby the crops, olives, palm trees, grapevines, and from all the fruits. Indeed in that is a sign for a people who give thought. 11 And He subjected to you the night and day, and the sun and moon; and the stars are subjected by His command. Surely in that are signs for a people who understand. 12 And all the [beauty of] many hues - which He has created for you on earth: in this, behold, there is a message for people who [are willing to] take it to heart! 13 And it is He who subjected the sea for you to eat from it tender meat and to extract from it ornaments which you wear. And you see the ships plowing through it, and [He subjected it] that you may seek of His bounty; and perhaps you will be grateful. 14 And He has cast great mountains in the earth lest it might be convulsed with you, and rivers and roads that you may go aright, 15 And landmarks; and they are guided by the star. 16 Is then He Who creates like one that creates not? Will ye not receive admonition? 17 Even if you wanted to count up all of God's blessings, you would not be able to. God is All-forgiving and All-merciful. 18 And Allah knows what you conceal and what you reveal. 19 Those whom they invoke besides Allah create nothing and are themselves created. 20 They are dead, not alive; and they do not know when will the people be raised. 21
