Do you not see that We have appointed devils to incite those who deny the truth to disobedience? 83 So be not impatient over them. We only count out to them a [limited] number. 84 On the Day when We shall gather the Godconscious unto [Us,] the Most Gracious, as honoured guests, 85 And shall drive the culprits to Hell as a herd. 86 They shall not control intercession, save he who has made a covenant with the Beneficent Allah. 87 And they say, "The Most Merciful has taken [for Himself] a son." 88 Assuredly, you have uttered a monstrous falsehood: 89 The heavens are close to being torn apart by it, and the earth being split asunder, and the mountains succumbing and falling down. 90 That they should invoke a son for (Allah) Most Gracious. 91 It is not for the Merciful to take a son! 92 None is there in the heavens and earth but he comes to the All-merciful as a servant; 93 indeed, He has full cognizance of them, and has numbered them with [unfailing] numbering; 94 And each one of them will come before Him on the Day of Resurrection, alone. 95 Verily those who believe and do righteous works - anon the Compassionate shall appoint for them affection. 96 and only to this end have We made this [divine writ] easy to understand, in thine own tongue, [O Prophet,] so that thou might convey thereby a glad tiding to the God-conscious, and warn thereby those who are given to [futile] contention: 97 And many a generation We did destroy before them; do you see any one of them or hear their faintest sound? 98
