3/4 Hizb 45

Noah had verily called to Us. And how gracious was He who answered (him). 75 And We saved him and his household from the great distress, 76 and made his offspring the only ones to survive, 77 And left (his name) for posterity. 78 Peace be with Noah among all men in the worlds. 79 That is how We reward those who do good. 80 he was truly one of Our faithful servants. 81 We then drowned the others. 82 ۞ And verily of his sect was Ibrahim. 83 He turned to his Lord with a sound heart 84 When he said to his father and his people: "What is this you worship? 85 Do you want to worship false idols as your lords besides God? 86 What think you then of the Lord of all Being?' 87 Then he looked at the stars, looking up once, 88 and said: “I am sick.” 89 But they went away from him, turning their backs. 90 Then he turned to their aliha (gods) and said: "Will you not eat (of the offering before you)? 91 What is the matter with you that you do not speak? 92 Then he turned upon them, striking (them) with (his) right hand. 93 Then they (the worshippers of idols) came, towards him, hastening. 94 He said: Worship ye that which ye yourselves do carve 95 When Allah hath created you and what ye make? 96 They said: "Build for him a building (it is said that the building was like a furnace) and throw him into the blazing fire!" 97 So they tried to execute their evil scheme upon him We therefore degraded them. (Allah saved him, by commanding the fire to turn cool). 98 And he said: Surely I fly to my lord; He will guide me. 99 Lord, grant me a righteous son." 100 (In response to this prayer) We gave him the good news of a prudent boy; 101 and when he had reached the age of running with him, he said, 'My son, I see in a dream that I shall sacrifice thee; consider, what thinkest thou?' He said, 'My father, do as thou art bidden; thou shalt find me, God willing, one of the steadfast.' 102 When both surrendered (to Allah's command) and Abraham flung the son down on his forehead, 103 We called out: "O Abraham, 104 You have fulfilled the vision." Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 105 That was indeed a clear trial. 106 We ransomed his son with a great sacrifice 107 And We left for him [favorable mention] among later generations: 108 Salamun (peace) be upon Ibrahim (Abraham)!" 109 Thus indeed do We reward the Muhsinun (good-doers - see V. 2:112). 110 He was one of Our believing worshipers. 111 And We gave him the glad tidings of Ishaq, a Herald of the Hidden, from among those who deserve Our proximity. 112 We blessed him and Ishaque (Isaac), and of their progeny are (some) that do right, and some that plainly wrong themselves. 113
