Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ WHEN THE SKY is split asunder, 1 when the planets are scattered, 2 and when the seas burst beyond their bounds, 3 And when the Graves are turned upside down;- 4 Every soul will come to know what it has sent ahead and what it left behind. 5 O man! What hath made thee careless concerning thy Lord, the Bountiful, 6 Who created you proportionately and fashioned you 7 In whatever form He willed, He put you together. 8 Nay! but you give the lie to the judgment day, 9 Surely, there are guardians watching over you, 10 noble recorders, 11 Knowing all what you may do. 12 Indeed, the righteous will be in pleasure, 13 and the libertines shall be in a fiery furnace 14 They will burn therein on the Day of Judgment, 15 And will not be removed from it. 16 And what shall make thee know whatsoever the Day of Requital is? 17 Again, what do you know what the Day of Recompense is? 18 It is the Day when no one shall have the power to do anything for another, and all command shall be Allah's. 19
