The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
۞ Magnify the Name of thy Lord the Most High 1 who created and shaped, 2 who has ordained and guided, 3 Who brought forth the pasture, 4 Then made it dry and dark. 5 We shall make you recite so that you will not forget, 6 Save that which Allah willeth. Lo! He knoweth the disclosed and that which still is hidden; 7 and [thus] shall We make easy for thee the path towards [ultimate] ease. 8 So remind, if the reminder should benefit; 9 He who fears (Allah) shall heed it, 10 Only the wretch will turn aside, 11 He will be cast into the Great Fire. 12 Wherein he will neither die (to be in rest) nor live (a good living). 13 To happiness [in the life to come] will indeed attain he who attains to purity [in this world,] 14 And who remembereth the name of his Lord, and then prayeth. 15 Nay (behold), ye prefer the life of this world; 16 Although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Surely this is in the ancient scrolls, 18 the revelations of Abraham and Moses. 19
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
