And man saith: When I am dead, shall I forsooth be brought forth alive? 66 Will not man remember that We created him aforetime, when he was nothing? 67 So by your Lord! We will most certainly gather them together and the Shaitans, then shall We certainly cause them to be present round hell on their knees. 68 Then We will separate from every group those who were strongly rebellious against the Beneficent God. 69 We know best who deserves greater suffering in hell fire. 70 It is the inevitable decree of your Lord that every one of you will be taken to hell. 71 We shall then rescue the pious – and leave the unjust in it, fallen on their knees. 72 And when Our clear communications are recited to them, those who disbelieve say to those who believe: Which of the two parties is best in abiding and best in assembly? 73 How numerous are the peoples We destroyed before them - those that were more resourceful and grander in outward appearance! 74 Say: 'Whosoever is in error, let the Most Merciful prolong his life span until they see that which they were threatened, be it a punishment, or the Hour. Then shall they know whose is the worst place and who is weaker in hosts' 75 And Allah increaseth in guidance those who let themselves be guided, and the righteous works that last are excellent with thy Lord in respect of reward and excellent in respect of return. 76 And hast thou ever considered [the kind of man] who is bent on denying the truth of Our messages and says, "I will surely be given wealth and children"? 77 Has he peeped into the Unknown, or obtained a promise from Ar-Rahman? 78 Nay, but We shall record that which he saith and prolong for him a span of torment. 79 And We shall inherit from him that whereof he spake, and he shall come to us alone. 80 For [such as] these have taken to worshipping deities other than God, hoping that they would be a [source of] strength for them. 81 Never. They will deny their devotion and become their adversaries. 82
