The people of Noah cried lies to the Envoys 105 Recall when their brother Noah said to them: "Do you have no fear? 106 Verily I am unto you an apostle trusted. 107 "So fear Allah, keep your duty to Him, and obey me. 108 I ask no payment from you for my preaching. The Lord of the Universe will give me my reward. 109 "So fear Allah, and obey me." 110 ۞ They replied: 'Are we to believe you whom the lowliest follow' 111 He said: And what knowledge have I of what they do? 112 My Lord alone can bring them to account, if only you could understand, 113 "And I am not going to drive away the believers. 114 'I am naught but a plain warner.' 115 They said: "O Noah! If you do not desist, you will certainly become one of the accursed." 116 He said, 'My Lord, my people have cried me lies, 117 So adjudge between me and them conclusively, and save me and the believers who are with me." 118 Wherefore We delivered him and those with him in the laden ark. 119 Then We drowned the rest (disbelievers) thereafter. 120 Surely, in that there is a sign; yet most of them do not believe. 121 And thy Lord! He is the Mighty, the Merciful. 122
