Hizb 46

Jonah too was one of the messengers. 139 When he ran away to a ship completely laden, 140 He (agreed to) cast lots, and he was among the losers, 141 then the whale swallowed him down, and he blameworthy. 142 Had he not been one of those who struggled hard, 143 he would indeed have remained in its belly till the Day when all shall be raised from the dead: 144 ۞ Then We cast him on a bare desert whilst he was sick. 145 And We grew a tree of gourd (as a shelter) above him. 146 Then We sent him to a hundred thousand or more, 147 They believed in him so We granted them enjoyment for an appointed time. 148 AND NOW ask them to enlighten thee: Has thy Sustainer daughters, whereas they would have [only] sons? 149 Or created We the angels females while they were present? 150 Then is it of their lying that they say: 151 "Allah has begotten children"? but they are liars! 152 "He has chosen daughters in preference to sons"! 153 What aileth you? How judge ye? 154 Will ye not then receive admonition? 155 Or, do you have a clear authority? 156 Produce, then, that divine writ of yours, if you are speaking the truth! 157 And some people have invented a kinship between Him and all manner of invisible forces although [even] these invisible forces know well that, verily, they [who thus blaspheme against God] shall indeed be arraigned [before Him on Judgment Day: for] 158 limitless is God in His glory, above anything that men may devise by way of definition! 159 Not thus, however, [behave] God's true servants: 160 Therefore you and all what you worship. (The disbelievers and their deities.) 161 can lure away from God any 162 except him who shall roast in Hell. 163 The angels say, "Each of us has an appointed place. 164 Lo! we, even we are they who set the ranks, 165 And verily we! we hallow. 166 And indeed they used to say: 167 "Had we received guidance from the people living before us, 168 we would surely have been Allah's chosen servants.” 169 But they disbelieved in it, so they are going to know. 170 for, long ago has Our word gone forth unto Our servants, the message-bearers, 171 that they shall receive Our help 172 and that it is Our host that would certainly triumph. 173 So, (O Prophet), leave them alone for a while, 174 and see them; soon they shall see! 175 What! would they then hasten on Our chastisement? 176 But when it descends in their territory, then evil is the morning of those who were warned. 177 And turn away from them for some time. 178 and see [them for what they are]; and in time they [too] will come to see [what they do not see now]. 179 LIMITLESS in His glory is thy Sustainer, the Lord of almightiness, [exalted] above anything that men may devise by way of definition! 180 And peace be unto those sent (to warn). 181 And praise to Allah, Lord of the worlds. 182
God the Almighty always says the truth.
End of Surah: The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat). Sent down in Mecca after Animals (Al-An 'aam) before Luqmaan (Luqmaan)
