The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the Glorious Morning Light, 1 And by the Night when it is still,- 2 Your Lord has not forsaken you, nor has He become displeased, 3 The reward in the next life will certainly be better for you than worldly gains. 4 And verily, your Lord will give you (all i.e. good) so that you shall be well-pleased. 5 Did He not find you an orphan and give [you] refuge? 6 And found thee lost on thy way, and guided thee? 7 Did He not find you poor and suffice you? 8 So do not oppress the orphan, 9 And as for the petitioner, do not repel [him]. 10 but proclaim the blessings of your Lord. 11
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
